GI Surgery

Surgery of the oesophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas calls for judgement built over decades. The unit is led by a surgeon who formerly headed the Department of GI Surgery at PGIMS Rohtak, the region's premier teaching institute.

Most procedures are done laparoscopically where suitable, and complex cancer resections are planned jointly with the oncology team.
