Robot-assisted precision surgery.

Robotic surgery gives the surgeon magnified 3D vision and instruments that bend far beyond the human wrist, translating into smaller cuts, less blood loss and faster discharge. Kainos brought this capability to Rohtak with the SSI robotic surgery system, installed in July 2024 — the first robotic centre in this region, and the place where the first robotic operation in Rohtak was performed.

More than 100 successful robotic procedures have already been completed here, including robotic oesophagectomy, colorectal surgery, nephrectomy and Wertheim's hysterectomy. The centre is led by Dr. Anand Kumar Yadav, Chief Robotic Surgeon at the Kainos Robotic Surgery Centre.

Robot assistance is used across GI, general surgery, urology, gynaecology and oncology wherever it genuinely improves the outcome — not as a gimmick.
